I have heard them say a lot about you
Their words are paper in fire
They just disappear
Into thin air

These people are the fog
On my windscreen on a cloudy day
They are accident causers
That should be wiped off

They are wrong and can’t stop us
And even if they are right
I’d rather be blinded to your flaws
Than live without you

I’m participating in the Writing 201 poetry course. This is my fifth contribution. The prompt was to write an elergy, using fog as a theme, and metaphors. So this is my contribution. I’ll appreciate, your views, criticisms and comments. How can you relate to this? Thanks

You can check my other poems: Tears , The Journey , Your Lies , Our Love Story
